Studio Hire

Smartcom:tv operates a modern, broadcast specification studio available for dry or crewed hire.  The studio measures 30 square metres (5.5m x 5.6m) with an infinity curve (4.7m x 3.7m) green screen. Fire retardant black surge drapes or white cyclorama options are also available.  Fully air-conditioned and sound-proofed the studio is equipped with the Dexel low heat fluorescent lighting grid with key lights by Arri and Film Gear.  The gallery, in- studio make-up/changing area, reception with monitoring (also used by hair and make-up artists), kitchen facilities and free Wi-Fi connection are inclusions in the half or full day hire charge.

The studio is operational in both standard and high definition with an optional gallery equipped with the TriCaster TCXD850 virtual studio vision mixer, JVC KM-H2500 vision mixer, Mackie 1604-VLZ3 audio mixer, talk back system and Avid editing facilities. The studio is operative in both standard and high definition broadcast production and is suitable also for still photography shoots.  We have a talented roster of additional freelance crew, lighting and sound equipment for hire if required for your production.
